Semi Permanent Dye will wash out in approximately 3-6 washes depending on hair type and colour. All Directions dyes work much better if you pre-lighten the hair, even if you have light hair already. This opens the hair up to allow the Directions dye to penetrate better and it will be much brighter. 

Always follow up all lightening and dye treatments with the colour conditioner to ensure hair is left soft and shiny.
