Dyed to order wig turnaround time is currently 4-5 weeks due to the festive season.
Q - Do you accept custom wig commissions?
A- Yes, I specialise in vivids and simple styling and no natural colours (Other than black/613 blonde). I use Directions, Manic Panic and Crazy Color hair dyes, so if you would like a wig dyed a specific colour (Or extensions!) send me a message.
Q - Do you accept returns?
A - Ready to ship wigs can be returned at your own cost if they are in unworn within 7 days. You will be liable for any losses in value if a wig is found to have been worn or tampered with.
Unfortunately due to the highly custom nature of the dyed to order wigs, these cannot be returned.
Q - Do you have any social media pages?
Yes, you will find Luna Moon Hair Dye on Instagram, Threads, Facebook, Tiktok and Youtube, give us a follow!
Q - Do you cut and colour peoples hair as well as wigs? Would you dye mine?
I do not, no. I am not a trained hairdresser, I am a hobbyist/artist above anything else.
Q - Are there any other types of hair pieces you can custom-dye?
A - Yes, I can dye a few different types of hair pieces. Subject to availability.
Q - Do U.S. customers have to pay customs or import charges?
Yes. From August 29th 2025 the De Minimus rule ended and all parcels are subject to a 10% tax plus handling charges. These duties and fees will be pre paid for you. The price of the postage includes these duties, so there is no bill for you after you have paid for your wig. To minimise disruption to my UK and Canadian customers, I have set up varying postal rates depending on how much you spend, so the base cost of the wig itself stays lower for all customers.
Q - What is the current turnaround time for dyed to order and custom commission wigs?
A - The turnaround time varies depending on the wig being used, however its usually around 4-5 weeks. I will tell you on ordering if this has changed as the slots can sometimes fill up quickly.
Q - Can you ship to the EU or Northern Ireland?
Technically, I can...my custom wigs have been altered, dyed and/or cut, which would mean they aren't they aren't strictly brand new anymore. The EU GSPR rules on appointing a representative etc was aimed at people bringing new products to market. I am altering an existing product/personalising them, but I still can't risk it, I am very sorry!
Q - What's the difference between Remy quality hair and virgin quality?
A - Virgin-quality hair starts as unprocessed human hair before it’s lifted to 613. It has intact cuticles, colours the best, lasts the longest and stays full right to the ends, so it feels heavier and more luxurious.
Remy-quality hair also has aligned cuticles but may have had light processing before becoming 613. It’s still good human hair, just not as full or heavy through the ends, making it a more affordable choice. For longer wigs I would recommend virgin quality.
